Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and actively participate in plant HSE activities while maintaining consistency through HSE management system implementation.
  • •Conduct toolbox talks, HSE awareness sessions, on-site HSE training, and provide induction training to employees, visitors, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • •Improve unsafe act/condition reporting and participate in near-miss and incident investigations; record and report incidents including injuries.
  • •Promote permit-to-work system usage and ensure compliance with PPE and safety equipment in the field.
  • •Support audits, inspections (e.g., equipment logbooks, fire extinguishers, eyewash/shower stations), emergency drills, and corrective actions for environmental deviations.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of direct working experience in a similar HSE capacity.
  • •NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred) and/or HSE trained/certified auditor experience (preferred).
  • •Strong hazard and risk assessment skills, including aspect/impact assessment.
  • •Working knowledge of HSE management principles, applicable legal requirements, and investigation skills.
  • •Good command of English and/or Arabic and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Email, and PowerPoint.
