Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform survey field work as an experienced lead, independently or while mentoring Jr Party Chiefs and Instrument Operators.
  • •Manage day-to-day coordination with office staff and the management team.
  • •Execute a wide variety of survey project work across multiple sectors and ensure field surveys are completed at project sites.
  • •Use survey instruments and equipment to obtain measurements, prepare clear notes and sketches, and download daily field data.
  • •Represent WSP professionally in the field and provide reports and summaries when needed, while adhering to ethical and safety policies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, with preferred higher education in land surveying or an associated field.
  • •7+ years of experience in land surveying and geospatial services (or an associated field).
  • •Advanced knowledge of survey equipment, practices, and procedures.
  • •Valid state driver’s license and successful completion of WSP’s Motor Vehicle and Background screening.
  • •Interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently or in a team, and commitment to safety and workplace policies.
