Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and maintain Cypress automation for React apps (TypeScript) across E2E, integration, and component tests.
  • •Use BDD/Gherkin workflows in Cypress, writing feature files and maintainable step definitions.
  • •Validate REST APIs consumed by the frontend using Cypress (cy.request) and/or Postman/MSW.
  • •Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to reduce test flakiness.
  • •Provide high-signal quality feedback for releases through reliable front-end test automation.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5+ years in QA automation with React/JavaScript/TypeScript, including 2+ years hands-on with Cypress (v10+) for component and E2E testing.
  • •Strong experience testing React applications (SPAs or Next.js) and familiarity with hooks, state management, and routing patterns.
  • •Proven BDD/Gherkin experience with Cypress cucumber preprocessor (e.g., @badeball/cypress-cucumber-preprocessor), including writing clear feature files and maintainable step definitions.
