Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble switchboards/panelboards by selecting and installing components using hand and power tools.
  • •Use drawings/diagrams/blueprints and manufacturing information (including bills of materials and order entry systems) to manufacture custom ordered switchboards.
  • •Follow safety policies and proper PPE use, perform 5S duties, and operate equipment safely.
  • •Track job progress, communicate problem areas and part shortages, and support production targets.
  • •Perform quality responsibilities including visual inspections before/after assembly and troubleshoot errors; conduct root-cause analysis for quality/production issues.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • •Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the Sumter facility will be considered.
  • •Experience in complex assembly operations or assembly requiring drawings/diagrams (preferred).
  • •Ability to read front views/one-line diagrams/bills of material and follow procedures using hand tools; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
