Key Responsibilities

  • •Build internal tools, templates, scripts, and workflows to reduce friction across local development, testing, CI/CD, deployment, observability, and code review.
  • •Lead practical AI adoption across Engineering by evaluating tools, designing usage patterns, and helping teams apply AI safely in delivery work.
  • •Partner with product engineers to discover bottlenecks, prioritize high-impact improvements, and measure impact on speed, quality, and developer satisfaction.
  • •Create and maintain golden paths for engineering workflows including new services, environment setup, recurring tasks, and release processes.
  • •Improve documentation, onboarding, self-service support, and automation to remove repetitive work and reduce manual handoffs.

Salary: CAD 160,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building internal developer tools, platform tooling, and engineering productivity systems or comparable infrastructure.
  • •Strong software engineering ability in at least one modern programming language, covering scripts, services, APIs, and developer-facing integrations.
  • •Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, workflow automation, or applying AI to software delivery.
  • •Ability to turn ambiguous developer pain points into clear problems, lightweight experiments, and shipped tooling improvements.
  • •Experience with modern development workflows including Git, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and production operations.
