Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Construction Technology.
  • •Minimum 12 years of directly relevant experience, including Resident Engineer or equivalent roles.
  • •At least 5 years working as a Resident Engineer on Caltrans Highway improvement projects of similar size and complexity.
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) / Licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California.
  • •Ability to read and fully understand contract documents, with working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and materials (e.g., Caltrans), plus strong communication skills.
  • •Valid, current California Driver’s license and a proven track record upholding workplace safety policies; must pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
