Job Summary

Serve as a seasonal operations specialist at the site during the busy season (end of August through early November, with possible spring return). Under general supervision, you’ll coordinate loading/unloading activities for trucks and railcars, operate automated scale/dump systems, perform routine maintenance and safety-focused housekeeping, and help maintain inventory quality while delivering agricultural inputs to customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Under general supervision, carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
•Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading, including sampling and connecting equipment as needed.
•Load and unload agricultural inputs using heavy or light duty machinery, and control/monitor load out functions.
•Operate automated scale/dump systems and perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance tasks and equipment inspections.
•Maintain a clean, orderly, safe work area, perform grounds/warehouse tasks (including snow removal and forklift operation), and report safety or maintenance concerns to a supervisor.

Key Requirements

•Must meet the minimum age requirement.
•1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations.
•Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
•Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
•CDL license or ability to attain one with Hazmat endorsement (preferred).
