Job Summary

Supervise non-exempt warehouse teams (20–80 associates) to drive daily performance across unloading, inventory put-away and picking, packing, and shipping. Plan and direct departmental workflow using multi-warehouse systems, track costs, and manage objectives, budgets, workforce requirements, and performance measures. Ensure compliance with company, safety, and legal policies, coach associates, and partner with union leadership while using intermediate PC tools and learning warehouse systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and supervise teams of 20–80 associates to meet daily warehouse performance requirements.
•Administer policies and procedures within legal guidelines and coach work groups on safety and regulatory standards.
•Manage costs by tracking against ABP, conducting cost analysis, and evaluating safety costs against production goals.
•Direct production and daily workflow using multi-warehouse systems and computer control commands.
•Facilitate setting objectives/strategies, daily planning, budgeting and workforce requirements, and developing performance measures for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Two or three years of supervision experience, or a B.A./B.S. degree, or equivalent related experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
•Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills, including providing feedback.
•Ability to resolve conflicts/disagreements to achieve win-win outcomes and promote trust among the team.
•Demonstrate leadership to foster learning and development, motivate teams, and ensure requirements are consistently met.
•Intermediate PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook) and the ability to learn warehouse systems such as SAP, WCS, Red Prairie, TranMan, and Laser Print.
