Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end prudential regulatory reporting lifecycle focused on capital adequacy and liquidity returns.
  • •Review and challenge prudential regulatory reports, providing management commentary on variances, trends, and capital/liquidity positions.
  • •Monitor regulatory changes, assess business implications, and translate updates into robust data and system reporting solutions.
  • •Collaborate across Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and IT to align data sources with regulatory requirements.
  • •Oversee reporting infrastructure projects: lead data mapping/ETL, manage testing phases (including UAT), validate outputs, and ensure deployments with proper documentation and controls.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 90,000 - 117,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in prudential regulatory reporting within an FCA-regulated (MIFIDPRU) investment firm or a PRA-regulated banking institution, including direct team management experience.
  • •Deep technical understanding of prudential regulations (e.g., CRR, MIFIDPRU) and core treasury functions, with hands-on experience producing complex capital and liquidity returns.
  • •Extensive project management and systems expertise, leading reporting system enhancements, infrastructure upgrades, vendor implementations, data mapping, ETL processes, and UAT methodologies.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interrogate complex datasets, challenge outputs, and deliver actionable management insights.
  • •A recognised professional accounting or finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) is highly desirable.
