Key Responsibilities

  • •Select and review mechanical and electronic components for Thales products using Thales PPL and the Component Information System, supporting design engineers and design reviews.
  • •Maintain the APL and manage inventory part numbers, including standardizing titles/descriptions, flagging obsolete parts, and consolidating duplicates.
  • •Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to select alternate sources of supply and maintain the Approved Vendors List (AVL).
  • •Support prototype-phase purchasing of components for internal developments.
  • •Work within a multidisciplinary engineering team and follow in-house quality procedures and international standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or Bachelor’s in electronics or telecommunication (or equivalent via experience).
  • •3+ years of experience in hardware and mechanical development.
  • •Fluency in French, Dutch or English, with strong knowledge of French and English.
  • •Knowledge of components used in electronic and mechanical design for both analog and digital applications.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with MS Excel mandatory.
