Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up welding equipment and position parts in fixtures/jigs using technical drawings and WPS parameter ranges.
  • •Perform manual, semi-automatic, mechanized, and automatic GTAW welding on thin-gauge materials including 4130 steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium.
  • •Inspect welds visually and against dimensional criteria using inspection tools; clean and repair welds based on rejection sheets and NDT analysis.
  • •Follow Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, and International Trade Compliance; maintain a clean work area.
  • •Assist in training other welders and perform/plan welding operations using technical documentation and computer-controlled equipment as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
