Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws and all traffic and safety regulations.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time over required routes, following safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment as needed and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and perform routine truck service checks; report maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold either a Commercial Drivers License (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations, and pass a DOT physical.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
  • •Must have a clean driving record.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds, and sit for prolonged periods in a trailer cab.
