Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide advanced technical support to improve recovery, unit costs, product quality, safety, and compliance.
  • •Prepare, plan, and manage the execution of area shutdowns (planned and emergency) in accordance with Rio Tinto standards.
  • •Support the planning and execution of OPEX projects, particularly those related to the Wet Plant Reinstatement program.
  • •Develop, implement, and continuously improve a global shutdown management system in collaboration with external shutdown specialists and/or QMM planners as required.
  • •Ensure shutdowns are delivered on time with quality control, preparatory works compliance, and close coordination with planning, operations, maintenance, and safety teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (Bac +5) from a technical engineering school or equivalent.
  • •PMP certification in project management is an advantage.
  • •Excellent bilingual communication skills (French and English), both written and spoken.
  • •Proven ability to ensure workforce safety during execution phases.
  • •Strong skills in budget management, planning, and schedule adherence.
