Job Summary

Lead a solar installation crew of 3–6 as a working field foreperson, responsible for safety, quality, customer service, and productivity on residential and small commercial projects. Organize and train installers, manage construction workflow and documentation/photo requirements, enforce OSHA standards and NEC code practices, and keep customers updated throughout the build. Help ensure equipment/material readiness and perform service calls when needed.

•Provide leadership and technical expertise for a solar installation crew, ensuring safety, quality, customer service, and productivity for each project.
•Organize, lead, and train crew members to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframes.
•Manage construction workflow and confirm adequate materials/equipment readiness to complete projects safely and efficiently.
•Maintain project documentation and photo requirements; check installer progress regularly throughout the installation.
•Enforce OSHA standards for photovoltaic installations and handle customer payments, time sheets accuracy, and service calls as needed.

Salary: USD 33.55 - 44.73 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification (e.g., wireman license) per local and state requirements.
•Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards; maintain an up-to-date NEC code book.
•CPR and First Aid certifications up to date.
•Ability to manage installation work and electrical tasks, including wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.
