Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect equipment, parts, and blades to ensure they are in good repair and sanitary prior to setup.
  • •Verify raw materials, lot number usage, and item formulation instructions; complete QA checks and documentation for the raw area.
  • •Perform transactions using the RF terminal or scanner and support production paperwork requirements.
  • •Communicate shift change information and control losses of product while maintaining compliance with GMP and safety guidelines.
  • •Support product changeovers by washing down equipment, discarding trash properly, and boxing raw materials as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to operate a grinding machine safely and follow GMP standards and safety guidelines for grinding operations.
  • •Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • •Must have held a position for six (6) months within the past twenty four (24) months with the same employer.
  • •Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs as required and work in extreme temperatures ranging from 39F to 90F.
  • •Must be able to read and comprehend written/typed work instructions, schedules, meat sheets, and spec sheets, and perform production paperwork using basic math skills.
