Key Requirements

  • •Implemented novel techniques in vector similarity for a large-scale search platform or progressed academic work in vector similarity information retrieval.
  • •Professional experience with vector similarity and vector databases, including algorithms/libraries such as HNSW, IVF, or similar approaches at scale.
  • •Strong core Java skills, including proficiency with the standard library’s data structures, concurrency constructs, and modern features like lambdas.
  • •Experience working with data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra and understanding why they work.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication with a track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code.
