Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that support Acrobat AI Assistant features and the ML pipelines that power them.
•Develop and maintain data pipelines for model evaluation, prompt testing, and feature monitoring with emphasis on reliability and observability.
•Build internal tooling, SDKs, and abstractions to reduce toil for ML Engineers and accelerate prototype-to-production work.
•Implement guidelines for modular architecture, asynchronous systems, and maintainable codebases; participate in PR reviews to uphold quality.
•Collaborate with ML developers and feature teams to translate requirements into well-scoped engineering solutions.

Key Requirements

•BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
•2+ years of production software engineering focusing on backend services and infrastructure
•Proficiency in Python with clean, unit-tested code; familiarity with Pydantic or LangChain is a plus
•Experience crafting concurrent and asynchronous systems using Python, Node.js, or Go
•Strong understanding of OOP and common design patterns; familiarity with event-driven architectures and non-blocking I/O
