  • •Manage production operations for multiple departments across multiple shifts.
  • •Lead and motivate employees to maximize productivity, evaluating performance and programs.
  • •Identify, research, and resolve production problems and opportunities while driving continuous improvement.
  • •Manage department cost, profitability, and inventory, maintaining required reports and records.
  • •Ensure compliance with UFP safety standards, participate in the Safety Committee, and support hazardous material handling if assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience with 1 to 3 years of experience managing people.
  • •Ability to set up and manage agendas with clear timeframes and use of visual aids.
  • •Strong communication skills to speak clearly, engage listeners, and ask pertinent questions.
  • •Proficiency operating Inside UFPI, including available resources, UFP policy training, and main page navigation.
  • •Commitment to safety, including proper training such as machine audits and understanding LOTO, JDA’s, and JSA’s.
