Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, deploy, and manage secure on-premises cloud infrastructure using RKE2, including storage solutions such as Longhorn and object storage.
  • •Host and maintain data science environments, including POSIT Workbench/Connect and Hive Metastore, and provide foundational support for AI/ML workloads.
  • •Manage and scale GPU-enabled compute environments, including Ray clusters for model training and VLLM routers for inference.
  • •Build and optimize Git-based CI/CD pipelines using Helm charts and ArgoCD, ensuring reliable GitOps-driven continuous delivery.
  • •Ensure continuous FIPS compliance, actively mitigate vulnerabilities, and implement authentication/authorization using Keycloak and OPA.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of related experience and the ability to work onsite in Crystal City, VA.
  • •Hands-on experience designing, deploying, administering, and troubleshooting production Kubernetes environments, including RKE2 (or similar).
  • •Strong Linux systems administration skills to manage, diagnose, and troubleshoot infrastructure and platform services via the CLI.
  • •Experience implementing authentication/authorization using Keycloak and Open Policy Agent (OPA), with concepts like OIDC and RBAC.
  • •Experience with GitOps/CI-CD workflows using Git, Helm charts, and Argo CD, plus container registry image management.
