Key Responsibilities

  • •Characterize, debug, and validate NAND including digital and analog circuitry from an ONFI performance perspective.
  • •Develop NAND validation and characterization programs and use them to debug advanced designs and features from high ONFI speed performance.
  • •Analyze large data sets on NAND characteristics to improve design margin and functionality, including troubleshooting root causes of deviations/anomalies.
  • •Coordinate with fabrication, manufacturing, system/tester vendors, design engineering, and RWB teams to support validation and characterization activities.
  • •Use engineering bench and testers to perform device characterization and electrical failure analysis, creating coding macros/blocks as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 8 years’ experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years’ experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • •Strong operating knowledge of CMOS devices/design/circuits and semiconductor characterization techniques and equipment.
  • •Coursework preference in VLSI, digital circuits, CMOS process/fabrication, and statistics.
  • •Proficiency with tester systems (e.g., Magnum, Advantest) and coding skills for tester coding/macros (Python, Perl, C++).
  • •Ability to analyze large data sets, coordinate global teams for volume data collection, identify trends/anomalies, and propose robust long-term solutions with ownership and strong communication.
