Key Responsibilities

•Install building automation systems for customers.
•Use hand tools and interpret control drawings, plans, and specifications to install temperature control systems (conduit, enclosures, wiring, and end devices).
•Prepare for on-site installation by reviewing building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating with other trades.
•Service products and equipment at customer locations to ensure satisfaction through identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems.
•Maintain assigned inventory, tools, vehicles, and complete required job documentation and reports, including daily time, progress, and duration.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 2–5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls; technical school or formal training preferred.
•Niagara N4 certification with 5+ years of experience.
•Knowledge of low voltage electricity and electronics (board level troubleshooting), direct digital controls, and building control techniques.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving).
