Job Summary

Senior Revenue Accountant responsible for analyzing and refining revenue recognition policies within Palantir’s Revenue Team, managing ASC 606 applications for enterprise software, and driving the quote-to-cash process while coordinating with Deal and Finance to ensure accurate accounting and timely close.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute the revenue recognition process from the contract closeout phase to financial statement disclosure.
•Drive revenue and cost of revenue month-end close by creating and validating accruals, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring policy compliance and developing standard reports.
•Document accounting conclusions in technical memos in accordance with policies and current software revenue recognition rules.
•Work with internal and external auditors to ensure audits are completed efficiently and effectively.
•Identify, champion, and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to revenue processes, including systems and reporting.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience with ASC 606 applied to enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS).
•3+ years of experience in a large public accounting firm and/or a software company.
•Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, or related field.
•Proficiency with NetSuite or other revenue recognition systems.
•CPA or ACCA/ACA is preferred but not required.
