Job Summary

Lead the engineering, design, and technical execution of Electrical Balance of System (eBOS) solutions for utility-scale solar projects. Own AC/DC electrical distribution layouts, electrical design reviews, and the engineering deliverables package (schematics, drawings, BOMs, specs, and test documentation). Provide technical leadership through proposal to commissioning, partner with customers and EPCs, support pre/post-sales, and drive value engineering and continuous improvement while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead electrical engineering and design of eBOS systems for utility-scale photovoltaic projects.
•Develop and optimize AC/DC electrical distribution layouts, including trunk bus systems, string harnesses, combiner boxes, disconnects, grounding systems, and related infrastructure.
•Conduct electrical design reviews to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project/customer requirements.
•Develop and manage engineering requirements, technical deliverables, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
•Provide technical leadership during execution and support customers/EPCs through proposal-to-commissioning, including pre/post-sales technical presentations and value engineering initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
•5+ years of experience in electrical engineering and/or eBOS design, power distribution, or utility-scale solar projects.
•Strong experience designing AC and DC electrical distribution systems, including systems operating above 1kV DC.
•Experience with utility-scale PV system integration and Electrical Balance of System (eBOS).
•Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, plus strong engineering documentation and drafting standards.
