Lead cross‑discipline project controls teams for a nuclear/energy client, delivering robust planning, cost control, risk management and performance reporting across complex programmes. Define governance, ensure data integrity, and drive delivery to time and cost targets while developing team capability and maintaining high standards of quality. Role requires presence at Sizewell or Ipswich offices three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead cross-discipline teams of project controls professionals to deliver robust project controls services and drive continuous improvement.
•Define and implement project controls approaches across project, programme and portfolio levels to enable effective decision making.
•Establish governance and assurance processes around project controls products and ensure compliance with NEC or FIDIC contract processes.
•Define scope and develop project controls products (e.g., Project Control System Definition) with client and team members; manage exclusions, interfaces and dependencies.
•Provide performance management data and insights to support delivery decisions, maintain robust baseline, and supervise career development and performance of team members.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience applying multiple Project Controls disciplines (planning, cost estimation, cost management, risk management or reporting) across multiple projects throughout the project lifecycle.
•Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence, manage, motivate, coach and develop a team in a diverse, inclusive environment.
•Experience with project controls software such as Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager or Ecosys; ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
•Will be able to obtain BPSS level security clearance and membership of a professional body (e.g., APM or PMI).
•Ability to navigate risk-based decisions with sound judgement and lead by example.
