Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently manage, lead, and deliver client-facing consultancy and risk assessment projects.
  • •Assist the External Wall Director by leading project delivery teams and overseeing/reviewing junior employees’ work.
  • •Undertake site survey work and report writing, including FRAEW, FRA, and compartmentation/fire door surveys where scoped.
  • •Lead inspection, design, and plan reviews for site inspection works, ensuring delivery to quality and deadline requirements.
  • •Support commercial management, protect AESG liability exposure by managing technical risk, and maintain knowledge of external wall and fire safety regulatory guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Surveying or equivalent.
  • •Ideally qualified to MSc level with relevant academic and/or post-academic professional qualifications to carry out the role.
  • •6-10 years of required minimum experience.
  • •Chartered Engineer (preferred).
  • •Demonstrated expertise and exceptional competency in specialised external wall and fire safety fields.
