Job Summary

Provide field service support for the Commander’s Independent Thermal Viewer (CITV) program, including technical troubleshooting, testing, inspection, and repairs during installation and platform testing. Oversee installation, check-out, operation, maintenance/repair, and modifications, while analyzing equipment failures and recommending corrective actions. Guide and train customer personnel on operation and maintenance procedures and develop preventive maintenance programs, with some CONUS travel required.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical support and direct interface with the external customer for CITV activities.
•Troubleshoot system problems and oversee necessary repairs under general direction and coordination from the home office.
•Perform testing, inspection, and repairs of the CITV system during installation and platform testing.
•Provide guidance and training to customer personnel on operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques.
•Oversee installation, check-out, operation, maintenance/repair, and modification of equipment; analyze failures and recommend corrective actions.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 2 years’ experience.
•Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility.
•Field Engineering / FSR experience maintaining electronic equipment.
•Experience with subsystems used in the U.S. Army’s M1 A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank (MBT).
•Ability to work as a self-starter with little or no supervision.
