Job Summary

Lead frontline operations in a manufacturing environment, driving safety, quality, policy adherence, lean processes, and on-time performance. Oversee employee performance reviews and discipline, support workforce development, and manage skills certification and recertification. Plan and lay out work to maintain smooth material flow, reduce departmental production costs, coordinate maintenance and supplies, and maintain required production records while supporting overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage employees’ behavior and involvement across safety, quality, company policies, production, operational cost, lean manufacturing, and on-time performance.
•Conduct employee performance reviews and manage discipline per department and company policy, escalating issues to upper management.
•Develop and promote team members and support advancement and growth within the company.
•Ensure certification and recertification for employees’ skills in critical and non-critical operations.
•Plan and lay out work schedules for orderly material flow, drive cost reduction initiatives, request maintenance, keep records, and work required overtime.

Key Requirements

•General high school diploma or GED.
•3–5 years of experience (over 3 years up to and including 5 years).
•At least 3 years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
•Computer skills and ability to learn.
•Communication skills.
