Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team to undertake commissioning activities in projects.
  • •Perform line walks, equipment internal inspections, vendor package readiness, and ensure operational readiness.
  • •Conduct functional and operational testing for telecom systems and ensure safe operation of test equipment.
  • •Attend P&ID review and provide input during HAZOP and HAZID reviews.
  • •Report work progress, flag potential problems/delays, and recommend solutions while ensuring HSE compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Telecom Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •10+ years of relevant oil and gas industry experience, including at least 4 years in a key Commissioning role.
  • •Experience performing pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for telecom systems (e.g., PAGA, RADAR, RFID, UHF/VHF radios, antennas, telephone).
  • •Experience inspecting systems for operational readiness and performing functional/operational tests for telecom systems.
  • •Familiarity with HAZOP/HAZID and P&ID review inputs and preparation of method statements/procedures.
