Job Summary

Engineering Manager role leading delivery and assurance of complex rail and metro infrastructure across Ireland. You will coordinate design, procurement, installation and testing, act as technical interface between clients, contractors and internal teams, oversee design delivery, manage interfaces, and ensure quality, safety and governance across project phases.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the technical assurance and delivery of rail and metro systems, from design through to construction and commissioning
•Act as a technical focal point for design, implementation, and delivery of assigned systems or subsystems
•Review contractor submissions, including design documentation, system architecture, plans, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with requirements
•Oversee contractor activities across design, procurement, installation and testing phases
•Coordinate technical interfaces and design integration, managing RFIs, design changes, and technical clarifications between stakeholders

Key Requirements

•Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
•Chartered Engineer (or working towards/equivalent professional accreditation)
•Extensive experience in rail, metro or light rail infrastructure projects
•Experience delivering design assurance and technical delivery on complex multidisciplinary projects
•Proven ability to review contractor submissions and manage design, installation and testing phases
