Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end daily distribution centre operations for receiving, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, value-added services, packing, and dispatch.
  • •Translate volume forecasts, order priorities, and customer commitments into executable shift plans and daily operating rhythms.
  • •Maintain operational control across shifts by identifying constraints, resolving exceptions, and escalating material risks with recommended actions.
  • •Develop capacity plans and optimize labour deployment, attendance, overtime, and temporary staffing while managing controllable costs and productivity.
  • •Lead and coach warehouse supervisors and operational teams, establish performance routines and continuous-improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • •9-10 years of progressive experience in warehousing, distribution, or fulfilment operations, including 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • •Proven accountability for a large, multi-shift operation with measurable improvements in safety, service, productivity, cost, and inventory accuracy.
  • •Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems, ERP systems, operational reporting, and data-led performance management.
  • •Working knowledge of inventory control, labour and capacity planning, quality management, workplace safety, and distribution-centre best practices; basic SQL is a plus.
