Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I focused on consultative, needs-based sales to identify and meet customers’ current and future financial needs. Build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and use CAMP marketing tools to reach out and schedule financial reviews. Cross-sell, support outside sales activities, refer to business partners, and help achieve Financial Center production and customer experience goals while processing teller transactions.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current/future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend solutions aligned to the bank’s value proposition.
•Proactively use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Focus on cross-selling and participate in outside sales activities and community financial literacy events as directed.
•Process teller transactions and support the platform staff while also partnering with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and referring customers as appropriate.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required at the time of employment through NMLS (MU4R questions and registration).
