Key Responsibilities

  • •Champion and execute the Director’s creative vision for the film’s visual identity in close partnership with the Production Designer.
  • •Define, develop, and communicate the film’s artistic style, focusing on environments, sets, props, and color design to create a cohesive visual language.
  • •Create and contribute concept art and visual development materials that inform key imagery for the film.
  • •Collaborate to lead and oversee Los Angeles and Madrid-based art departments, maintaining alignment and unified direction across global teams.
  • •Provide artistic direction, feedback, and mentorship; partner with production and studio leadership to align goals, timelines, tools, and budget.
Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 2,900 - 4,000 weekly

Key Requirements

  • •6 years of experience working on animated feature productions, with experience leading or supervising an Art Department (CG animated feature preferred).
  • •Ability to develop visual ideas from initial concept through final execution, with ownership and creative problem-solving.
  • •Strong design fundamentals across composition, color theory, lighting, shape language, and visual storytelling.
  • •Proven leadership and team management skills to guide, motivate, and develop artists in a collaborative environment.
  • •Excellent communication skills to articulate creative direction and align with diverse teams.
