Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute consumer-right assortments for owned retail stores.
  • •Create weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and share insights with the broader team.
  • •Participate in weekly trading meetings with insights and actions to drive business growth.
  • •Partner with planners to understand inventory gaps, forecast, and evaluate business risk; collaborate with allocation on product launches and in-store stock visibility.
  • •Analyze product and promotional performance during the season and conduct seasonal hindsight on financial performance, platform/category, and opportunities/challenges; support ad hoc inventory, promotions, and customs-related activities.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in merchandising, merchandising planning, and/or buying within a retail environment.
  • •University bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • •Strong analytical skills and commercial business acumen.
  • •Strong understanding of market competition, consumer, and market trends.
  • •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong communication; fluent Japanese and business English for global meetings.
