Key Responsibilities

  • •Accurately locate fiber optic cable to determine whether a dig site is clear or if conflicts exist.
  • •Identify, mark, and document utility locations using paint and photo capture for upload to company systems.
  • •Protect cable and network infrastructure from damage due to faulty or conflicting locations.
  • •Maintain tools and electronic equipment, including fiber optic transmission, lightwave multiplexing, and power equipment.
  • •Access and process tickets in company systems, update site records, and log detailed trouble ticket information with status reports.
