Job Summary

Lead and manage the Housekeeping Department of Kempinski Al Othman Hotel Al Khobar, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest satisfaction across guestrooms, public areas, F&B outlets and back-of-house. Set departmental objectives, monitor processes, train staff, control inventories, and coordinate with Front Desk, Engineering and other departments to deliver timely, defect-free service.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the Housekeeping Department by developing and implementing departmental objectives in line with the hotel business objectives.
•Supervise housekeeping operations such as cleaning and maintenance whilst ensuring compliance with all housekeeping policies, procedures, standards and satisfaction of guests’ needs.
•Inspect all areas and take corrective measures in order to meet Kempinski Standards in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and supply.
•Develop, implement and continually review the policies, procedures, practices and standards.
•Select, train, develop, schedule and manage the performance of direct and indirect subordinates to ensure the efficient running of housekeeping operations.

Key Requirements

•Proven ability to lead and develop a housekeeping team to meet hotel standards and guest expectations.
•Strong supervisory skills to manage cleaning, maintenance, and compliance with policies and procedures.
•Experience inspecting areas and implementing corrective actions to maintain cleanliness and supplies.
•Ability to develop, implement and continually review policies, procedures and standards.
•Budgeting and inventory management skills, including planning manning, linen/goods supply, and coordinating contracts with vendors.
