Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and extend a production dbt project of roughly 220 models, following the staging → int → mart convention.
  • •Own the semantics of domain logic (billing sequences, fee-schedule matching, patient states, care classification, provider utilization/capacity) and keep tests/exposures/documentation current.
  • •Run ingestion and pipelines by owning source health (practice management via ODBC, CRM/credentialing data, external files via Airbyte, payroll, GA4) and resolving sync failures/schema drift/freshness gaps.
  • •Produce and improve reporting/BI delivery, including recurring scheduled reports, dashboards, and partner-facing extracts, ensuring stakeholders can trust and interpret numbers.
  • •Serve as analytics partner to Finance/RCM, Clinical Ops, Growth/partnerships, and exec leadership; turn business questions into defensible answers and resolve metric disagreements.

Key Requirements

  • •Expert SQL, including window functions, complex CTE pipelines, incremental logic, and reasoning about grain and fan-out.
  • •Production dbt experience owning or substantially building dbt projects (models, tests, sources, exposures, macros, materializations).
  • •Fluent in Google BigQuery with performance and cost characteristics.
  • •End-to-end ownership of an analytics stack, including broken pipelines, undocumented sources, and urgent stakeholder support.
  • •Strong written communication and judgment/self-direction in a remote sole-owner environment.
