Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic leadership to help develop and execute initiatives to grow the evaluation and benefits management work area.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with key clients across public and private sectors, providing robust and proportionate strategic advice.
  • •Provide technical oversight for complex evaluation and benefits management project delivery, improving capability and deliverable quality.
  • •Identify and pursue new business opportunities, preparing bids and proposals and collaborating with other business lines on multidisciplinary projects.
  • •Support recruitment, mentoring, and development of the evaluation and benefits management team while promoting collaboration, innovation, diversity, and inclusion.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience working in the evaluation field.
  • •A higher degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • •Chartered Status or membership in professional bodies (e.g., CIHT, TPS, or UK Evaluation Society).
  • •Practical experience applying mixed methods in evaluation, including theory-based and experimental/quasi-experimental evaluation design for transport-related projects.
  • •Proven expertise designing and implementing Benefits Management, supported by strong analytical skills and leadership/team-management capabilities.
