Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker focused on consultative sales to identify and meet customers’ financial needs. After a 4–8 week onboarding and education program (including rotations in operations and Sales & Service), use financial needs assessments, marketing tools, and cross-selling activities to grow new and existing relationships. Process teller transactions, support platform staff, and guide CSRs on the sales and referral process while maintaining confidentiality and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations and certification to qualify for the Retail Personal Banker I role.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current/future needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Proactively reach out using CAMP and approved marketing tools to set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Process teller transactions and support platform staff while cross-selling and partnering with assigned business partners (e.g., Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) as appropriate.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
