  • •Set production goals and expectations for the shift.
  • •Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment; set up and operate machinery.
  • •Operate forklift as directed and without supervision while following all safety rules and procedures.
  • •Oversee the daily preventive maintenance program and track/report inventory and parts usage.
  • •Train, promote, and discipline employees; ensure safety compliance and that employees meet quality and production standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience training team members on forklift operation and production machine troubleshooting skills (including forklift, bobcat, loader).
  • •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform intermittent physical activities including climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • •Ability to walk on elevated catwalks and stairs and stand for long periods of time.
  • •Block or paver machine experience preferred.
