Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead or support application software design and configuration for process operation in process industries, ensuring customer and engineering standards are met.
  • •Provide senior technical support for Advanced Process Control (APC) and plant-wide optimization projects across assessment, design, configuration, testing, commissioning, and audits.
  • •Develop and apply process simulation models (steady-state and/or dynamic), perform balances and scenario studies using UniSim Design/Aspen tools, and validate models for digital twin use.
  • •Collaborate as a primary technical interface with customers through technical discussions, design reviews, and results presentations in Japanese.
  • •Provide technical leadership in project execution, manage technical risks, and mentor junior engineers to maintain engineering quality.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, control engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •5+ years of experience in process engineering, process control, advanced control, process simulation, or application engineering in the process industry.
  • •Understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals, unit operations, and industrial process behavior.
  • •Experience designing/configuring process control systems or industrial application software.
  • •Japanese language proficiency for customer communication and technical documentation is essential.
