Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on strategies and manage the bid process, including vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, bid interviews, and recommendations.
  • •Lead estimating services by developing and reviewing project estimates, presenting estimates to clients, and supporting value engineering and risk assessments.
  • •Manage cost reporting and forecasting, maintain a commercial risk register, and run periodic meetings with project teams and vendors.
  • •Oversee cost control and payment/change processes by reviewing payment applications, advising on contractor entitlements, recommending change orders, and supporting dispute prevention/resolution.
  • •Manage invoicing, final accounting, post-contract audits, lesson-learned reviews, and handover procedures using bid analysis and change control documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects.
  • •Strong communication skills and good knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
