Key Responsibilities

  • •Own security for Saturn’s applications, backend services, and integrations, including authentication, authorisation, session management, and firm-level data separation.
  • •Implement AWS security controls across IAM, network controls, secrets, encryption, and workload isolation.
  • •Run threat modeling and security reviews early in projects covering financial workflows, external integrations, and AI capabilities.
  • •Lead vulnerability management end to end: discovery, risk-based prioritisation, remediation, and verification across code, dependencies, cloud resources, and employee systems.
  • •Drive detection and incident response, turning incidents into lasting improvements to systems and controls; include AI security against prompt injection and sensitive data disclosure.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years in security engineering, software engineering, infrastructure security, or a closely related role, with a track record securing production software or cloud infrastructure.
  • •Strong application and API security depth, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and practical knowledge of authentication, authorisation, sessions, secrets, and encryption.
  • •Hands-on cloud security experience securing AWS (or another major cloud), including IAM, network security, and cloud-native controls.
  • •Experience running threat modeling and security/architecture reviews and recommending proportionate controls for the system’s stage.
  • •Ability to write and integrate security automation using Go, TypeScript, Python (or comparable languages) and to own problems through investigation, remediation, and verification.
