Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate BIM implementation and drafting work product, partnering with architects, engineers and project managers to deliver precise project drawings and models for moderate- to large-scale projects.
  • •Oversee QA/QC standards and procedures for BIM documentation, ensuring accuracy and proper depiction of existing conditions or new facility design.
  • •Experience scoping projects and formulating BIM execution plans in collaboration with the project manager.
  • •Develop and enforce standard BIM and CADD practices, ensuring proper illustration, fit form, function, and quantity calculations while complying with design standards and code requirements.
  • •Monitor cross-functional teams on BIM deliverables, provide staff training, and maintain digital libraries of model families and design support documents.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
  • •7+ years of relevant post-education experience with prior BIM experience.
  • •Experience with both public and private sector work (Federal, state, city, county, utility districts, and private land development).
  • •Experience supporting project managers in reviewing scopes of work and pre-project planning.
  • •Advanced proficiency with drafting and design support principles, Autodesk tools (e.g., Revit, Forma) and related software; thorough knowledge of codes, regulations and QA/QC.
