Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute the full month-end and year-end closing process for the Polish entity, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • •Maintain the company’s accounting books in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act (UoR) and Group Accounting Policies.
  • •Ensure completeness, accuracy, and reliability of all financial data recorded in the general ledger.
  • •Manage and supervise monthly accruals, provisions, and deferrals.
  • •Liaise with local Finance Team, HQ, and external providers; support audits and ad-hoc financial analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • •Certification: Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or Polish Ministry of Finance/SKwP certificate) is a strong asset.
  • •Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record in a "Senior" or "Chief" role within a multinational environment.
  • •Standards: Expert knowledge of Polish Accounting Standards (UoR) and Polish Tax Regulations and sound proficiency in IFRS.
  • •Tools: Advanced knowledge of SAP (or similar Tier 1 ERP) and expert level MS Excel.
