Commission, program, and set up direct digital control systems for assigned customer projects. Perform end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs while serving as the direct customer contact to ensure satisfaction. Document point-to-point verification and sequence validation, coordinate installation and repairs with team leaders and customers, and stay current on Trane product installation, operation, maintenance, and safety requirements.

•Troubleshoot, service, and repair direct digital control systems and related equipment at customer locations.
•Document point-to-point verification, validate sequences of operations, and complete job close-out requirements.
•Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand installation/repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
•Maintain current knowledge of Trane products and continuously enforce safety and asset security standards.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; typically 3–5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations (no DUI, hit & run, license suspension, or reckless/careless driving).
•Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred.
•Must be able to safely operate on-site at customer locations and meet physical and safety requirements (PPE, ladders, confined access, lifting).
