Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on an AI research internship project with Canva’s AI team using real data, production infrastructure, and real deadlines.
  • •Conduct task-specific parameter pruning of foundational video generative models.
  • •Combine pruning with complementary optimization techniques (e.g., DMD, LoRA-based methods).
  • •Measure and evaluate compute cost, latency, and quality trade-offs with rigorous evaluation.
