Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the Mobile Platform team owning shared mobile capabilities that underpin the app.
  • •Collaborate with the wider mobile community, including React Native engineers, to share best practices and guide native development decisions.
  • •Improve the Zopa app by identifying bottlenecks, resolving bugs, and enhancing performance and reliability.
  • •Build and evolve customer-facing features that leverage iOS native capabilities.
  • •Partner with Product, Design, and Backend to shape solutions from early idea through a high-quality release.

Key Requirements

  • •Build and ship polished production iOS apps using Swift.
  • •Have a solid understanding of iOS frameworks and native mobile development principles.
  • •Have worked on modern, high-engagement apps and focus on creating fast, intuitive customer experiences.
  • •Write maintainable code and apply strong engineering practices to improve reliability, testing, and app quality.
  • •Apply mobile security best practices and collaborate with Android engineers using Kotlin and/or React Native engineers.
