Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and carry out original research, publishing high-quality work and presenting findings in publications and conferences.
  • •Secure and manage research activities, including winning financial support, project managing research, and supervising and mentoring PhD students or early career researchers.
  • •Deliver, assess, and continuously develop teaching and assessment, including designing inclusive and academically challenging curriculum content.
  • •Develop and advise others on learning and teaching tasks and methods, and supervise projects, student dissertations, and practical work.
  • •Contribute to Department/School administration and leadership activities, including knowledge transfer, enterprise, business engagement, public engagement, widening participation, and equality, diversity, and inclusion monitoring.

Salary: GBP 47,389 - 56,535 annually
