Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems without custom keypad/controller and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Handle installation scenarios from basic (power/ignition/ground) to complex wiring harnesses accessing the CAN network of vehicles and equipment.
  • •Identify and resolve installation problems by gathering/analyzing information and developing alternative solutions.
  • •Travel to client sites or EquipmentShare rental yards, occasionally working outside business hours and weekends; act as an advocate for the EquipmentShare solutions and brand while on the job.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools; own required tools for the role (some specialty tools provided).
  • •Experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, mobile electronics installer, automotive electronics technician, or 12V technician).
  • •Clean driving record, ability to pass a background check, and comfort with physically demanding tasks (lift 25+ lb; bend/squat/walk; maneuver in tight spaces).
