Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and manage cost-savings opportunities, including coating replacement/optimization and equipment usage or replacement.
  • •Manage key technical and strategic projects, including quality improvement, regulatory, rationalization, strategic supply, and customer requests.
  • •Provide operational support for ongoing use of commercial materials, including customer complaints, operational challenges, and internal quality assurance.
  • •Support container specification requirements and engineering projects; collect and analyze data, and create/communicate project plans and reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other related technical degree.
  • •Working knowledge of engineering principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures.
  • •Knowledge of can/end materials and manufacturing processes, container filling, processing, and packaging practices.
  • •Ability to operate and functionally use a computer.
  • •Broad understanding of experimentation, including the scientific method and variables, with strong written and oral communication (e-mail, reports, leading technical discussions).
